Well we had a great first holiday with Alex!
M had both the Friday and Monday off so it made a great long weekend!
Thursday
- Alex had h
is first nap ever in his crib :D I think he enjoyed all the room since he is getting too long and strong in his craddle
- In the evening we went to M's parents house for hamburgs/hotdogs. It was nice to have dinner made and the hotdogs were delicious (although that could be due to me not being allowed to eat hotdogs while pregnant and man did I miss them!)

Friday
-We got up early-ish but took our time getting ready for the day. We went to Rondeau Provincial Park and it was the perfect day for it! The weather was around 25C and clear sunny skies. We also took our 80 pound puppy who was so excited for a long car ride and walking where there 
are so many new smells! Alex slept pretty much the whole time we were gone but you could tell he loved the fresh air while in his front carrier I was carrying him in. We were there for a few hours on different trails and then headed home

We were there for a few hours on different trails and then headed home-On the way home M came up with the idea of going to my parents house to see my brother/sister-in-law and their kids who were visiting there. We went straight there and had a fish dinner. As the night went on the house got warmer and Alex got crankier :( Apparently Alex is like his dad and feels the heat unlike me who is always cold. It doesn't help he is going through another growing spurt so he is quick to get fussy right now.
Saturday
- Great-grampa and his wife came for some morning cuddles shortly after a vomit-fest and poop explosion both hosted by Alex- I ended up throwing him in the tub as it seemed the easiest way to clean up
- We spent the afternoon relaxing
- My good friend Erin came to visit in the evening and it was really nice she held him the whole 3 hours and is just absolutely in love with him
Sunday
- We got to church and Alex was wearing an adorable Easter outfit with matching hat. It was the first sermon he got fussy in but he eventually settled down
- After church we went to my parents for lunch and it was yummy
- We went directly to the in-laws after my parents for dinner which was also nice
- It was a very busy and tiring day!
Monday
- Much more relaxed day we went for a long walk with the stroller in our neighbourhood with the puppy it was nice just to have time to spend as our own little family :)
